Legit Writer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy ("Agreement")
Recitals
A. The Service Provider offers automated tools designed to assist with rewriting and humanizing user-provided text to improve originality and authenticity.
B. The Service Provider aims to provide these services to the Service Recipient for the purpose of enhancing the human quality of text and potentially reducing AI-detection flags.
Based on the above, the Parties agree as follows:
1. Scope of Work
The Service Provider will perform text analysis and transformation services on content ("Content") provided by the Service Recipient through legitwriter.com. This includes assessing, rewriting, or "humanizing" submitted text to enhance readability and reduce machine-detectable AI patterns.
The output ("Results") will be made available via the website interface, downloadable report, or other designated method.
2. Consideration and No-Refund Policy
Use of the Services is subject to the payment terms displayed on the website. All payments are final. The Service Provider does not offer refunds under any circumstances, including dissatisfaction with the results, lack of findings, system errors, or processing delays.
3. Service Recipient Obligations
The Service Recipient agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete content.
- Cooperate with the Service Provider as needed to ensure proper delivery of services.
- Refrain from submitting any content that infringes on third-party rights or violates applicable laws.
4. Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied. The Service Provider does not guarantee specific outcomes, such as undetectability by AI detectors, or improvement in readability, performance, or originality.
The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure quality but does not guarantee the complete accuracy or effectiveness of the tools.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational harm.
Maximum liability under this Agreement shall not exceed £0.01.
6. Confidentiality
The Parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information exchanged under this Agreement, except where disclosure is legally required.
The Service Provider reserves the right to name the Service Recipient as a client and describe the nature of the services provided, without disclosing sensitive content or data.
7. Privacy Policy
To deliver its services, the Service Provider may collect and share data, including text content, email addresses, IP addresses, browser metadata, and cookies, with third-party APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and others.
Users may request access to or deletion of their data by emailing [email protected] and providing adequate proof of account ownership.
Data is handled with industry-standard security practices but cannot be guaranteed against all potential threats.
8. Service Disclaimer
The Service is intended for use as an aid in humanizing and editing content. It is not a guarantee of invisibility to AI detection systems or a substitute for manual editing.
The Service Recipient is solely responsible for the use of the Service and any consequences thereof, including ethical, academic, legal, or professional implications.
The Service Provider disclaims any liability related to how the output is used.
9. Governing Law and Arbitration
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Class Action Waiver
Disputes must be resolved on an individual basis. The Service Recipient agrees to waive any rights to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
If this waiver is deemed unenforceable, the arbitration provision shall be null and void.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
11.1 Ownership
All intellectual property associated with the Legit Writer service, including algorithms, interfaces, reports, and tools, remains the sole property of the Service Provider.
11.2 License
Service Recipients are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, modify, and distribute their output for personal or commercial use.
11.3 Revocation
The license may be revoked if the Service Recipient violates applicable laws or this Agreement.
11.4 Restrictions
Users may not reverse engineer, repurpose, or misuse the platform or its technology in ways not authorized under this Agreement.
11.5 Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions provided become the property of the Service Provider, with full rights to use and commercialize.
12. Amendments
This Agreement may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be posted on the website.
